Consider me your cycle syncing bestie + hormone health coach
I started my career as a professional dancer, teacher, and coach receiving a Bachelor of Science in Dance Pedagogy from Oklahoma City University. My dance career ultimately led me into the wellness space, where I continued my education and certifications. I am am currently a certified private Pilates instructor, lead workshops on holistic wellness, guide and educate woman on living in alignment with their cycles, and balance their hormones.
My journey with health + fitness started with my own cycle healing
I started my journey like most women do. Tired of feeling tired, over the doctor's appointments that never actually helped, and fed up with feeling like an over-worked and under-paid employee to my hormones. Every time my period showed up, I would be bed ridden for 3 days, doped up on ibuprofen, clutching a heat pack, and just praying the storm would pass quickly.
I did this for YEARS, before finally taking my health into my own hands.
When I became educated on the power and influence our hormones have over our bodies, I knew it would change the way I view my entire life. I dove even deeper into the cycle syncing method and slowly started implementing sustainable changes into my life (you can't rush this kind of healing!)
I stopped fighting against my body and learned to embrace the ebb and flow of my ever changing hormones. I learned how to support them with the right kinds of exercises and nutrition. I changed my mindset away from our society's focus on hustle culture, and instead fed my body what it really desired... a cyclical rhythm.
